B2B Meetings

One of the most important parts of the summit was the B2B sessions, where Iranian economic actors and African trade delegations met and negotiated directly. These meetings provided an opportunity for companies to present their capabilities, products, and plans, creating conditions for signing joint cooperation agreements and strengthening business networks.

Signing of Contracts and Memorandums

During the summit, several memorandums of cooperation were signed between Iranian companies and institutions and their African counterparts. These agreements were mainly in commercial, industrial, agricultural, and service sectors, marking an important milestone for practical cooperation and joint project implementation. The signing of these documents demonstrated the serious commitment of both sides to advance long-term economic relations.

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony was held with the attendance of officials and representatives, and a summary of the summit’s outcomes was presented. In this section, the achievements of the sessions and signed agreements were reviewed, and emphasis was placed on continuing cooperation in future editions. Representatives from both sides also stressed the importance of following up on agreements and holding the summit regularly to strengthen sustainable relations.

Conclusion

The first Iran–Africa Summit concluded successfully and laid the groundwork for a new phase of economic, investment, and joint cooperation relations. This event not only strengthened political and economic ties but also painted a clear picture of mutual capacities between Iran and African countries. The first summit became the basis for establishing a permanent secretariat for the Iran–Africa conference. Since the first session, this secretariat has served as a hub to facilitate trade between Iran and Africa.
